Hi, I'm Kaitlyn, and I was accepted to grad school yesterday.
Specifically, to a masters program at one of my top two schools (they're currently tied, so in effect, I got into my 1st choice). When I got the email, I was expecting to have at least another month to wait for good news, so it was a very pleasant surprise. I'm pretty sure my roommate, Charles, thought I had finally lost it--my initial reaction was to bang on his door and yell, followed by bouncing. Lots of bouncing. I still have a hard time not fidgeting when I realize how excited I am.

My name is Angelique, as you might have guessed from the title. I recently graduated from the University of Florida, and I’m currently finding new ways all the time to keep myself entertained. Right now, that happens to be singing female barbershop, and writing stories.
Fiction is something that’s had a soft spot in my heart for well over a decade at this point. I have stacks and stacks of literature that will never see the light of day. I wouldn’t be a writer if I didn’t have piles and piles of useless material.

Charles and I have been hard at work on MiNext since the idea really started coming together last summer. He's been writing quite profusely, and I've been working on the structural side of things. Throughout this build up phase, we've been letting our friends in on the project bit by bit. It's a labor of love and our next big collaboration, but it's been a bit slow going and lonely.1
