space for a sequel. I mean they did. But if they make a sequel it’s going to feel very like a rehash of the Stryker/Prof X/Magneto stuff they did in X2 because of where they left the characters.
If you’re willing to overlook the obvious continuity issues, it’s a solid movie with good action, a decent plot and solid special effects. I’m able to accept that this movie exists outside of the other movies Fox has done and I understand that they wanted to show new characters. But I really wish they would’ve gone with the real first class or done an Ultimate reboot. Maybe Marvel is saving the Ultimate reboot for when the license reverts back to Marvel/Disney. Also, I’m not sure they left enough space
